Tonight was Bethanie's 1st grade Christmas Music Program. It was freezing rain outside so it was cancelled @ the last minute. Bethanie was very disappointed because she was looking forward to wearing her new black and silver dress with silver to-die-for shoes (and nylons like a big girl). She was also being featured as a dancing snowflake. Needless to say, her heart was broken. So, we let her decide the festivities for the evening. We played Candy Land, had popcorn and hot chocolate. Matthew and Jeff finished off with a game of Battle Ship. All in all, the evening wasnt a waste. We are sad that we were not able to see Bethanie's Christmas program. Here they only do Christmas programs in 1st grade. :O(
On another note...Today I received a Christmas Card from a friend of mine that goes way back. We met when we were 10 years old when my familiy moved from Myton, Utah to Neola, Utah. I have lost contact with her several years ago, and one day out of the blue I thought of her, and she called! (GRIN) It was very nice to see her name in my mail box!
