SuRgErY...

Matthew is out of surgery now. He practically popped up from his bed on his way out of recovery. He was talking up a storm and instantly wanted to play his Nintendo DS and eat something. He has been rather sick to his stomach and feeling quite sleepy. His will is stronger than his body at this point and he wants more than anything to play his stuff, but we wont let him until his nausea subsides. He has two "stab wounds" in his tummy and the little one in his belly button. Very minimal and what stitches he has are disolvable ones.


I just went and ate at the Ronald McDonald room. They are volunteers who come in and bring a meal for the families like ours. What a WONDERFUL THING! They served taco's, nachos and cheese and a fantabulous zucchini chocolate cake with sinful chocolate chips to top it. OY!!! I know that I will have to add a few stickers to my fridge but it is so hard eating when you are not at home and are at the mercy of others. :O) If you need to email me for the next day or two, please email me at sammimc@yahoo.com with STORMY in the subject line.
