So, the afternoon was a lot of fun. I have posted several pictures of the events. We went to Jeff's parents house, which is on the other side of town from our house. It is neat to go there because they have a park across the street. So, because Sunny is only 2 weeks and 2 days out of his heart surgery, they stayed across the street at Kari and Al's yard and watched. Below: Left-Right: Al (Jeff's Dad), Ron (My Dad), Ann & Sunny.

After the wonderful meal, and dessert, we sat out back on the patio watching the girlers swim in the pool for a while. Here is Jeff all kicked back in the Cabella. The weather was PERFECT for the fourth of July, it was warm, but not so you sweat.
This evening after we came home, we lit off a few of our left over fireworks with the kids and got them to bed. They had a hard time getting to sleep with all the fireworks going off outside, but they are zonked so they will sleep just fine. After they went to sleep, Jeff and I went outside and watched some of our neighbors firework display which was a rather extravagant night show. Tomorrow we are enjoying a nice QUIET day at home. It has been a long weekend and it isn't even the weekend yet! :O) Tomorrow is a new day!
