BiG GiRl...

My sweet little baby is growing up. I am so mixed up about it. She is only 2, but she THINKS she is 6 like her sissy. Madison is turning out to be a lot like Bethanie. She is super responsible, loving and kind. Today, after she stripped off all her clothes, I told her she had to have clothes on to eat supper with us. So she went and dressed herself. She did a great job. LOL!

Oh, and her crib is going bye-bye in a week. She wont even fall asleep in it anymore. So....I am just biding my time until my finals are over and I can handle the difficult nights until she adapts. LOL!

TaKiNg BeTs...

Who will bet against me? I am wondering if I will be able to get out of bed in the morning. I worked out SO MUCH this morning, and most of it (well, half at least) was all upper body stuff (weights). These muscles are not used so much. I consider myself to be a weakling. LOL! I have only just sat down for the day, and I tried to keep going to get things done because I realized that IF I sit down, I will start to stiffen up (and I am) and my muscles will start to get sore. I got the garden planted today, mowed half the lawn (DH had to do the rest because I had to start supper). Anyway, it was a very productive day. We will see...do YOU think I will be able to get out of bed in the morning on my own power??? LOL!

FiNaLs & cHeSt PaIn...

So, finals are looming. I STILL don't know what I am supposed to be studying for in English Comp. II. Today we had to meet with the instructor individually because he wanted to "go over our papers with us." I wasn't worried because I brown nosed and emailed him after our last class on Monday because he told the class he was NOT happy with the papers. He told me that day via email how I did (I got a 98, he never gives 99+). But while I went over the paper with him, I told him I was confused by what we were supposed to study. I know he must certainly get sick of me and will be glad I am OUT OF HIS CLASS (this is two semesters of me in a row). He *tried* to explain to my poor fried brain of what he wanted for the third time, but I STILL DON'T GET IT!!! So he told our class today that there would be no class on Friday, but we could all go in and get some help on our papers if we wanted. I said, "I would rather work on my paper on my own, but have a final **REVIEW** on Friday." He said we could probably do that. So.....I will show up, and HOPE FOR THE BEST. If he decides to NOT do the review, I am toast.

Chest pains, my anxiety and panic problem are just out of control at this point. I have talked with the therapist that comes to our house to see our kid, and he tried to help put things into perspective. What is wrong with me? I have too much UNFINISHED things going on. I cant stand to leave things unfinished. The longer it goes on, the more likely I will forget, so mentally I hang on to it and then it becomes too much. So, my Dr. upped my Celexa. Lets hope it works!!! I sure hope so. I want to get passed this issue!!!

LiStS...

I am a list person. If I don't have it written down and in front of me, it ain't gonna get done. I started to email a friend of mine a couple of different times, but I had to stop because my lists were too long of things that I had to do (within a time frame). It created so much anxiety in me that I have been on the verge of a panic attack. I am so fortunate to have a therapist that comes to our home to help treat one of our children, and part of his philosophy is to keep the PARENTS healthy as the first step to treating the child. He listened to my concerns of my anxiety which I was so thankful for and he challenged me in some things to help me get a handle on it. I need to prioritize better. This time if year STINKS. We have so many birthdays, two graduations, mother's day, college finals, end of school year projects and activities for the children. It is soooooooo much to think about.

Today I went and had my back worked on. The poor PT, she hurt one of her thumbs and so she had to use her ELBOWS.....yep you saw it right. She had to use her elbows to dig into my muscles. Needless to say, I am totally USELESS. DON'T TOUCH MY BACK. Why is it that the kids gravitate to those sore spots???

It'S tHe FiNaL cOuNtDoWn...

YES!! After today, I only have TWO days left of classes! YESSS! Then next Monday I take my finals. I am SOOOOO HAPPY! I probably wont be blogging so much because I plan to do some serious studying. Plus, my sweet husband is GRADUATING Kansas Wesleyan University next Saturday. Soon after that is Mother's Day, and three family BIRTHDAYS within 9 days...OY!

Today, I decided (though I reeeaaallly didn't want to) to go in and work out after my first class. It has been a couple of weeks since I last went because of time restrictions. I went but could only do 40 minutes. I killed my back last week at the Dance Recital and it has been bugging me ever since, but it really started screaming at me during the work out, so I had to stop. TOMORROW, I have an appointment with Physical Therapy to help treat the Fibromialgia pain that I suffer with daily, and hopefully she will be able to help with the back pain caused by my "accident."

Anyway, hope you are all doing well. Enjoy the spring! That reminds me, I have to get my garden in this week, too. OY!

The Kansas Sampler Festival...

The Kansas Sampler Festival is in town again this year. It usually comes to a town for two years in a row. There are LOTS of informational hand outs from many Kansas communities, lots of samples of food, and many other fun things. We love to enter drawings. This year, we won something!!! Look and see!

Yep! Bethanie won a wagon from the Optimist Club!!!
It was a neat day, and we were at the park for quite some time. The kids are exhausted, as are we. They wore us out big time!!!
